Nous nous renseignons au Visiter Center. Il n&rsquo;y a pas de parcours. Nous repartons avec un document o\u00f9 se trouvent des photos et des indications. Mais il faut bien comparer les photos et la r\u00e9alit\u00e9. Donc forc\u00e9ment on se trompe. Sachant que la marche fait plus de 13 km, mieux vaut ne pas trop se tromper. Nous marchons sur un terrain couvert de bois p\u00e9trifi\u00e9s. C&rsquo;est comme marcher sur des pierres pr\u00e9cieuses. Apr\u00e8s s&rsquo;\u00eatre perdus, nous avons finalement atteint le premier point : les coquillages fossilis\u00e9s. D\u00e9j\u00e0 6 km de parcourus. Finalement on arrive \u00e0 reconna\u00eetre les photos et les indications et on d\u00e9bouche sur un d\u00e9cor de r\u00eave : le Red Basin. La fatigue commence \u00e0 se faire sentir. on doit traverser ce d\u00e9cor en marchant dans un wash que l&rsquo;on remarque facilement. On est confiants. On passe par le tronc p\u00e9trifi\u00e9 g\u00e9ant. C&rsquo;est \u00e0 partir de l\u00e0 que nous commen\u00e7ons \u00e0 tourner en rond. Le plan n&rsquo;est pas clair et c&rsquo;est la derni\u00e8re photo de la marche. Nous avons perdus nos rep\u00e8res et commen\u00e7ons \u00e0 \u00eatre fatigu\u00e9s. Claude sort son GPS en sachant que des falaises peuvent nous bloquer. Finalement quelques km plus loin on retrouve la barri\u00e8re qui figure sur le plan.
